Brooks and Amaden, Inc., founded in 1988, is a progressive firm providing Professional Engineering, Surveying and Site Planning Services to the private and public sectors throughout the Tampa Bay Area. The firm employs Registered Professional Engineers, Registered Professional Surveyors, and a mix of competent Technicians, CAD Designers and Administrative Support personnel.

In August of 2007, RLK Incorporated (RLK) of Minnetonka, Minnesota, formed a joint venture partnership with Brooks and Amaden, Inc. of Brandon (Tampa), Florida. RLK has provided engineering, landscape architecture, planning, surveying, and traffic engineering services throughout the upper Midwest since 1991.

With a 20-year presence serving the Florida region and developing a loyal clientele, the name of Brooks and Amaden remains.

Brooks and Amaden, Inc., is certified by the Florida Department of Transportation to provide surveying and mapping services and minor highway / roadway design; and, is certified by Hillsborough County and the City of Tampa, to provide professional engineering and surveying services; and is certified by the City of Oldsmar to provide professional engineering services.

Services are provided to Hillsborough County under a Miscellaneous Stormwater Contract, and, a Miscellaneous Survey and Mapping Contract. Services are provided to the City of Tampa under a Master Work Order Agreement for consultant services.
